BDO has expanded its Bristol team with the appointment of Sarah Joannidi as audit partner.
Joannidi, who joins from RSM where she worked for 11 years, has particular experience in the provision of services to international businesses, having dealt with overseas reporting requirements in relation to US GAAP and GAAS. She has also previously held positions at KPMG and advises listed and private equity-backed businesses across sectors including recruitment, manufacturing and professional services.
“Sarah’s appointment reinforces our commitment to ensuring our UK and international clients receive great advice from exceptional people,” commented Paul Eagland, managing partner at BDO.
“Our international offering is impressive and Sarah’s experience in advising high-growth, private equity-backed businesses with overseas interests is a strong addition to this area of our business.”
BDO has been busy recruiting new talent. Two new partners in tax and corporate finance were recently appointed, while a total of 284 new trainees will be added to its audit, tax and advisory streams this year.
