RSM has announced 11 partner promotions with effect from 1 April across the audit, tax and advisory practices.
Adam Krupski and Hywel Pegler have been promoted to partner in the audit practice in the firm’s Stoke and Bristol offices respectively, while Karen Musgrave and Nicky Warburton have been promoted in audit in the firm’s Preston office.
In the tax team, Jo Webber has become a partner in the Bristol office while Simon Adams has been promoted in London – both in employer solutions. Elsewhere, Claire Spencer has become a corporate tax partner in Manchester and Stella Cooper has been promoted in the accounting and business advisory team in Leeds.
In RSM’s advisory practice, Natalie Ord has been promoted to corporate finance partner in London; Jamie Miller has become a restructuring advisory partner in Leeds; and Declan Mackin has been appointed as a partner in economic consulting in the Belfast office.
Seven of the 11 individuals who received a promotion to partner begun their careers at the top 10 firm.
Chief executive officer at RSM David Gwilliam said: “We’re an ambitious firm and attracting and developing talent is a central part of our strategy to be first-choice advisers to middle market leaders in the UK, which is why it’s great to see such a strong cohort of colleagues reaching partnership.
“What is particularly pleasing is that no fewer than seven of our promotions this year are ‘homegrown’ having joined the firm as trainees. Each promotion is testimony to their talent across a diverse range of business specialisms and our ongoing commitment to training and development.”
He added: “Our new partners will all play an important role in delivering high quality advice to help clients achieve their medium to long term strategic goals.”
In February, RSM appointed a new CEO following the transition of Laurence Longe to the role of chairman of RSM UK.
