HMRC makes four high profile appointments including Phil Hodkinson as non-exec
Former HBOS group finance director Phil Hodkinson has joined HMRC as a
non-executive, alongside three other high profile appointments.
Hodkinson served as group FD at HBOS from 2005 until 2008. He is currently an
external adviser to HMRC’s senior management team and the audit committee and
worked with the department in the wake of its data loss and subsequent review of
its systems and processes.
He also serves as a non-executive director and audit committee chair at BT
Group, Travelex and Resolution.
He is joined by former Tesco CIO Colin Cobain, former group human resources
director of ITV Philippa Hird and former permanent secretary for the DCMS Dame
Sue Street.
Dame Sue is currently a strategic adviser to Deloitte, and was a senior
management consultant at Price Waterhouse.
