Haines Watts acquires Devon firm

Sulley and Co Bideford to join Haines Watts Group

HAINES WATTS has announced the acquisition of a Devon-based accountancy firm.

The Exeter office of the top-15 firm acquired Sully and Co Bideford (SCB) this week. John Edwards, the managing partner of SCB, will continue to manage the north Devon office.

SCB was established in 1983 and currently has 25 staff; it has with a turnover of more than £1m.

Edwards told the This is Devon website: “Haines Watts has the advantage of local knowledge coupled with the backup resources of a nationwide network, which means that we can now cost-effectively offer more sophisticated solutions to client’s issues and problems backed up with a brand they can trust.”
