Baker Tilly adds UAE firm to expand Middle East footprint
Baker Tilly International has added a new member firm in the United Arab Emirates, marking an expansion of its network in a market the group describes as strategically important for future growth.
The Dubai-headquartered firm joins the global network as part of a broader effort to strengthen Baker Tilly’s presence across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).
The UAE’s position as a regional hub—with a business-friendly regulatory framework and diversified economy—makes it a focal point for companies pursuing cross-border opportunities.
Francesca Lagerberg, CEO of Baker Tilly International, said the addition of the UAE member firm is a key step in reinforcing the network’s reach in the region.
“MEA is an important region for the future growth of the Baker Tilly network globally,” she said. “The expertise and reputation for quality demonstrated by our UAE firm aligns perfectly with our core values. It not only strengthens our capabilities in the region but also enhances our ability to support clients with cross-border needs through seamless, integrated solutions.”
The firm, led by managing partner Saad Maniar, will continue to operate in the UAE while benefiting from Baker Tilly International’s global resources and cross-border expertise.
Maniar said the move reflects the firm’s ambition to meet rising client expectations in a rapidly changing business environment.
“Joining Baker Tilly International is a significant milestone for our firm,” he said. “Aligning ourselves with a strong global network will enable us to deliver even greater value to our clients. We are excited about the opportunities for knowledge exchange, collaboration and innovation.”
The announcement follows the appointment last year of Chakib Zaari, founder of Baker Tilly in Morocco, as Regional Chair for MEA, and Gagik Gyulbudaghyan as Regional Director.
The leadership team has been tasked with driving growth and developing services across the region.
