Forvis Mazars announces new UK Executive team
Forvis Mazars has announced a new Executive team to lead its UK operations, with five new appointments joining CEO James Gilbey’s leadership group. The Executive members will assume their roles with immediate effect.
The Executive will be responsible for defining and delivering the Forvis Mazars’ strategy in the UK, in alignment with the firm’s international strategy.
The team includes the new appointments of Andrew Hoyle, Gareth Jones, Asam Malik, Liz Ritchie and Greg Simpson, alongside reappointments of Mark Kennedy, Margaret Laidlaw, Elisabeth Maxwell and Toby Stanbrook.
New Executive Team Members:
- Andrew Hoyle is Head of Advisory and Consulting Services, developing the firm’s advisory capabilities and meeting clients’ needs with tailored, innovative solutions underpinned by trusted relationships.
- Gareth Jones is Head of Growth for private clients and the mid-market. He will be responsible for the firm’s regional presence across its 14 UK offices.
- Asam Malik is Head of Growth for large international businesses. He will be responsible for continuing the development of the firm’s sector approach and applying its multidisciplinary expertise for clients.
- Liz Ritchie is Head of Tax, providing advice and support for clients of all sizes across a range of sectors and specialisms. Liz will be focused on expanding the tax practice across the UK.
- Greg Simpson is Head of Audit. He will be responsible for leading one of only six Tier 1 audit firms with a clear focus on delivering quality for its clients.
Reappointed Executive Members:
- Mark Kennedy is Head of Quality and Risk, emphasising the firm’s singular focus on delivering quality.
- Margaret Laidlaw is Head of People. Margaret will focus on leading initiatives that enhance the Forvis Mazars’ culture as the firm grows, as well as those that accelerate progress on inclusion and diversity.
- Elisabeth Maxwell is responsible for Client Experience and Partner matters. She will be focused on supporting the development of the partnership and helping our teams deliver an unparalleled experience for Forvis Mazars’ clients.
- Toby Stanbrook is Chief Operating Officer and deputy CEO. He is responsible for leading strategic initiatives for the firm and providing close support to the CEO.
