Top Northern accounting firm, Cowgills, has appointed Nilesh Modhvadia to be its new audit director.
Modhvadia joins Cowgills from ASE Global, the automotive business management specialists. Prior to that, he was hired by Baker Tilly, now known as RSM.
His new senior role will be part of a 30-strong audit team, headed up by Cowgills partner, Stuart Stead.
Modhvadia is lucky to be returning to where he grew up, having studied at Bolton Sixth Form school and gaining his degree from the University of Salford.
Stead said: “Nilesh joins Cowgills at a time of unprecedented growth for the company and will be instrumental in developing our audit function. He has a strong track record of supporting businesses nationally and his experience in providing audit services and strategic advice to clients is second to none. He’s a great addition to the team.”
Cowgills is a top chartered accountants and business advisory firm in the North West of England, and this year placed 54th in the Accountancy Age Top 50+50 ranking.
It provides a range of services in audit, tax, business advisory, and accountancy to SME clients across the North West of the country, from its offices based in Bolton and Manchester.
It reports recent rapid growth and, as a result, is looking to expand its team across the firm.
Modhvadia said: “I’m delighted to be joining Cowgills at such an exciting time and working with many of the superb local businesses they support. The company has a strong reputation in the North West with clear plans for growth and development and it’s great to be part of the team.”
