AVADO won two gold awards at Learning Technologies’ award ceremony in London, one of which was for Best Online Distance Learning Programme for ACCA.
The company was awarded the judges’ highest awards for their ACCA courses, which it said reflected its success in its mission to “deliver a high-quality alternative to traditional classroom teaching and change perceptions of online learning on a global scale.”
The judges said the programme “fully demonstrated the effectiveness of design, innovative features, high learner engagement, tutor support and student satisfaction.”
John Cunningham, ACCA’s Regional Head of Education for Europe & The Americas, said ACCA was impressed by with AVADO’s ability to “design digital ACCA programmes that cover complex accounting principles in a light and engaging way.”
The success of the programme is reflected in the fact that 83% of currently enrolled students said they would not have enrolled if the programme was not offered online, and the programme produced a 10% higher pass rates than the ACCA global average. The course also boasts 80% average engagement and 100% satisfaction scores for tutors.
Amy Crawford, Managing Director of AVADO Professional said the course was designed with the goal to disrupt the online accountancy training sector, and added: “We’ve done just that, creating the most engaging, learner-focussed programme we can, that focuses on practical skills and developing the accountants of the future.”
