Progressing your career in Transaction Support at EY

Transaction Advisory Services are critical for businesses in the UK, as companies seek to edge ahead of the competition by making good decisions regarding capital and transactions. How could you progress your career in Transaction Support?

At a time when the global business environment holds increasingly complex strategic challenges, we know that how organisations manage their capital agenda today will define their competitive position tomorrow. EY’s Transaction Advisory Services business helps clients work more efficiently and effectively, ensuring their long-term health by raising, preserving, investing and optimising capital.

Despite mounting uncertainty in the transactions market, Transaction Advisory Services was the fastest growing business in EY’s UK & Ireland firm in their financial year ended 30 June 2017, with market leading revenue growth of 10.2%. Globally, the growth in EY’s Transaction practice was even higher at 15.5%, and the team advised on 7 of the top 10 global M&A deals.

EY’s Transaction Support team was a key driver for the success of Transaction Advisory Services last year, having recorded revenue growth of 14.3% in the UK & Ireland.

Over 200 financial due diligence experts work in EY’s Transaction Support business throughout the UK, supporting a wide range of clients – from entrepreneurial businesses to the largest global multinationals – on a variety of transactions. This scale enables a broad experience, providing opportunities to work with both corporate and private equity clients, across industry sectors and locations.  The complex nature of our projects also means you’ll often be working with other EY colleagues around the world, from varied backgrounds and disciplines, and there will be opportunities for travel.

And, as a place to work, EY provides a supportive environment in which individuals can carve their own career paths. Flexibility is key to the EY workplace ethos, with a strong focus on work-life balance, enabled by the fostering of trust and responsibility between teams and individuals.

Does this sound like the environment in which you would flourish? If you have financial due diligence experience and would thrive in a fast-paced, high-profile and high-pressured environment, consider EY as your next career destination.
