PwC has announced the appointment of a new data analytics director for the North of England.
Stephen Mills joins the Manchester office from IBM, where he spent 12 years as an associate partner in the data, analytics and cognitive consulting group. At PwC, Mills will “focus on leading the analytics and data capability for PwC in the North of England across all industries to help bring new and innovative solutions to market,” PwC said.
In his role, Mills will also join the leadership team for the firm’s risk assurance analytics and data practice.
Mills said: “I’m really pleased to be joining PwC’s analytics & data practice. With the continued explosion in available data sources it is an exciting time to be working with clients across the north region on analytics opportunities.”
Nick Bouch, co-leader of the analytics and data in the assurance practice, said: “I am delighted that Stephen has chosen to join the leadership of PwC’s rapidly growing analytics & data practice. Stephen’s wealth of knowledge across sectors and specifically around advanced analytics, data management and the compliance challenges that many of our clients are increasingly experiencing will significantly increase our ability to serve the Northern market and will help many of our clients to address these key challenges”.
