Online car dealership ends 11-year relationship with PwC
ONLINE car dealership Auto Trader has appointed KPMG as its auditor, it has been confirmed.
PwC, which has been Auto Trader’s auditor since 2004, will conduct the current year audit and stand down at the conclusion of the AGM in September.
Auto Trader floated in March last year and has seen its shares climb 41% since its IPO.
Its 2015 annual report shows the company paid PwC a total of £2.9m over the year, around £2.6m of which was for non-audit related services. The majority of that figure related to work on the company’s IPO.
