Safferys re-elects Fox as managing partner
Jonathan Fox to serve another term as managing partner of Saffery Champness
TOP 20 FIRM Saffery Champness has re-elected Jonathan Fox as managing partner.
Fox was elected managing partner in 2010, having joined as executive partner in 2008. Despite being a non-accountant, he has built a career in senior roles within professional services, including roles at St Philips Chambers and Collier Bristow.
He will serve a second four-year term from 1 April 2014.
Safferys currently sits at 14 in the Top 50 +50 Survey of Firms, with £58.9m in revenues – up 5% in the last year. The firm, founded in 1855, operates out of nine UK offices, with 68 partners and directors.
Fox said: “I am obviously delighted to have been re-elected as managing partner of the firm. Our success is the result of sheer hard work and collaboration by all of our dedicated people across the business, and by sticking to our core focus on private clients and steadfastly pursuing the plans we laid out back in 2011.”
In an earlier interview with Accountancy Age, Fox had suggested that losing the election could see him out of a job.
