EY acquires specialist consultancy
EY acquires digital, data, marketing and strategies consulting to strengthen its global presence in the sector
EY HAS BOUGHT management consultancy business Greenwich Consulting for an undisclosed sum.
The Big Four firm acquired the specialist consultancy firm which focuses on digital and data analysis as well as growth strategies and marketing.
Greenwich Consulting has 130 staff, with 80 based in France, and seven offices in Europe, North America, Africa and the Middle East. It was created 12 years ago and had a turnover of €25m (£21m) in 2012. Greenwich claims that it has a 35% annual growth rate in revenue in the last ten years. The group is made up of three separate entities: Greenwich Consulting, Kalea Consulting and Greenwich Statistics.
EY is to set up a new “Strategy, Marketing and Innovation” practice to strengthen the firm’s digital and business analytics at a global level.
Jean-Pierre Letartre, EY chairman and CEO in France, North Africa and Luxembourg, and Eric Mouchous, head of EY advisory in France, North Africa and Luxembourg, jointly issued a statement that said: “We’re proud to be associated with one of the greatest French consulting success stories of the last ten years.
“This operation will meet our clients’ expectations and enable EY to offer unique capabilities in all fields relating to growth strategy, marketing and innovation”.
