The past year has seen 43 partners join E&Y UK&I, with 548 appointed globally
NEARLY 550 NEW PARTNERS have been admitted to Ernst & Young across the globe, with 43 joining the UK & Ireland division.
The 43 partners who have joined E&Y in the past year are based across the firm’s seven offices, and across its four service lines: advisory services; assurance; tax; and transaction advisory services. 19 of the appointments were made this week.
Steve Varley, chairman and UK & Ireland managing partner at E&Y, said: “I am delighted to welcome a diverse and talented group of new partners to our business – they will play a key role in helping us to continue to grow successfully in the market, and make the difference to our clients, people and society.”
Some 187 partners have joined Ernst & Young EMEIA, while 548 have joined the firm globally.
Rival Big Four firm PwC announced 61 equity partner appointments this week.
