Coutts managing partner joins Grant Thornton
Martin Young leaves Coutts to head up Grant Thornton's financial planning team
MARTIN YOUNG has left Coutts to join Grant Thornton as head of financial planning for London.
Young, previously managing partner for Coutts & Co, developed the private bank’s Fleet Street office, which became the highest revenue-generating private client team. It focused on the legal and accountancy sectors.
At Grant Thornton Young will lead a team of seven investment advisors.
Grant Thornton national head of financial planning Neil Messenger said: “I am delighted Martin has joined the firm and I am excited to see how he will take the team to the next level. Martin comes equipped with vital expertise at a time of great challenges in the market and so will provide a steady hand our clients can rely on.”
