Local management buys Bury St Edmunds office of Grant Thornton
GRANT THORNTON’S Bury St Edmund office has been bought out by the local management team.
The office ceased trading as Grant Thornton on Friday 11 March and re-opened as Churchgate this morning, the East Anglian Daily Times reports.
Grant Thornton will continue to run its Ipswich, Cambridge and Norwich offices in the area.
Robin Jackson, principal at Churchgate, said: “The next few months will be demanding as we establish our own systems and practices, but we’re really ready for the challenge of making Churchgate a feature of the Bury business scene.”
There were no redundancies as part of the deal.
