The London office of Wilkins Kennedy, ranked 27th biggest according to the 2003 Accountancy Age Top 50, has merged with W H Payne & Co to form a new London team.

The new firm will operate under the Wilkins Kennedy brand, with Peter Villa remaining as managing partner of the merged office. Ron Smith, senior partner of WH Payne and William Payne, partner and great grandson of the WH Payne founder, will become partners of Wilkins Kennedy.
The 30 plus staff of WH Payne, currently based in Southwark Bridge Road SE1, will join the London office of Wilkins Kennedy and operate from its London Bridge location.
Commenting on the merger, Peter Villa said: ‘This is an exciting development for the clients and staff of WH Payne & Co and Wilkins Kennedy. Combined we will now have a formidable London team.’
Wilkins Kennedy has seven offices across London and the South East with 34 partners and 232 staff.
