Liquidation grows on back of 11 September
Mid-tier firm RMS Robson Rhodes has been appointed liquidator to the Special Events Company, an events management company.
Special Events Company, founded in 1987, filed for liquidation after it continued to lose business in the wake of the 11 September terrorist attacks.
Mike Hore, national corporate recovery partner at Robson Rhodes and liquidator to the events management company said: ‘This is another example of the impact of the September 11 occurrences on the hospitality industry. I and my staff are looking at ways to ensure that the press ball in 2002 will continue as scheduled.’
