Fraud investigation unit buys real-time e-disclosure tools
KPMG Forensic, the UK unit responsible for fraud investigation, has agreed to
purchase e-disclosure and investigations software solutions from Aungate, a
specialists real-time enterprise governance developer.
The software is widely used by law enforcement and other agencies around the
world and will enable KPMG forensic to investigate and review any electronic
evidence from virtually any file format and in virtually any language.
The software allows investigators to analyse other types of information such
as recordings of telephone calls, voicemail or video recordings.
Sanjay Bhandari, head of e-disclosure at KPMG, said the software offered an
alternative to ‘employing an army of paralegals’ and said such technology was
the ‘future of document review’.
Aungate is a division of LSE-listed Autonomy Corporation.
