Government releases new R&D advice

HMRC issues new help for SMEs on troubled tax credit

The government has released new guidance for small businesses looking to make
R&D tax credit claims.

The Treasury is currently consulting on possible changes to the operation of
the credit, amid accusations that it is being misdirected.

The new guidance gives advice on what to claim for and how to do so, as well
as highlighting some notable errors.
