Peter is Associate Director of Finance Transformation research at the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants.
The Association’s Future of Finance is the main focus of Peter’s research. Additionally, he contributes to the development of the CIMA/CGMA syllabus, writes whitepaper reports, speaks at events and works with colleagues across the Association’s value chain to support CIMA members and CGMA designation holders.
Peter joined CIMA as a member of staff in 2006. Since 2002 he had been Managing Director of IFG Financial Services Ltd, the UK subsidiary of IFG, an entrepreneurial Irish financial services group. Before that, Peter was the head of a division and on the senior management team of Bank of Ireland in London. His CIMA qualification had enabled him to achieve career progression over many years with the bank through roles in strategy, corporate lending, credit management and marketing.

Thomas Sutter is a career Finance Director and Controller who now works at Oracle NetSuite in the Global Solutions Centre of Excellence. Usually reporting to US parent companies, Thomas is accustomed to HQ requirements, as well as handling all localisation demands across EMEA. At his last company for 6 years, they implemented and used NetSuite for 3 years, where Thomas was responsible for compliance in 6 countries. Thomas now works with customers in various ways to help them understand how NetSuite can support business growth with modern cloud technology, and for finance teams to evolve from their traditional back-office function. This includes specialising in international capabilities to help businesses scale for growth, meeting local compliance and reporting obligations, whilst at the same time allowing for localised user experience.

Paul is a chartered accountant with over 20 years’ experience in industry and practise covering financial outsourcing, business advisory, and performance improvement.
Paul’s focus is on supporting entrepreneurial businesses and SMEs in Birmingham and Milton Keynes with their financial outsourcing and compliance requirements and providing part or full back office solutions. Paul works with both inward investors and UK based clients.
