Top London accountancy firm, Lubbock Fine, has today announced the appointment of Paul Finnegan as their new Chief Operating Officer.
Finnegan joins Lubbock Fine from 13 years at Blick Rothenberg, a CogitalGroup firm, where he started as a practice director, subsequently moving into roles as an equity partner and then COO.
Finnegan brings a wealth of experience with him to his new COO role.
He worked in a range of roles for Big Four firm KPMG during the seven years he spent with them, including UK head of business development and assistant to the COO in the corporate recovery practice.
The new role at Lubbock Fine will see Finnegan work with the leadership team on strategy and implementing the business plan.
He will also be responsible for general management of the practice, including finance, HR, IT, marketing, and office services.
The aim is for Finnegan’s appointment to free up partners’ time, so they can focus more on working with clients.
Finnegan’s background includes an MBA from Kingston University as well as a member of the Advisory Panel for Winmark’s Managing Partner Network and a school governor.
Mark Turner, managing partner at Lubbock Fine, said: “Paul’s appointment marks the next stage in our planned development, growth and expansion. We feel fortunate to have attracted a candidate of Paul’s high calibre who brings a fresh perspective and wealth of experience to help strengthen our management team.”
Finnegan added: “Lubbock Fine is at a very exciting stage in its progression. The firm already has a long history of providing high quality services to its clients and investing in its people and technology to ensure this is sustained and delivered in a contemporary way.
“I am really looking forward to working with everyone at the firm to develop and grow the practice from this strong platform.”
