THE SENIOR MANAGEMENT team at Hayward Wright has been boosted with the appointment of Gareth Wood to its ranks.
Wood, who has served at the Worcestershire-based firm for the past 18 months, has brought in new clients during this time, and will now help further support its growth plans. He becomes a director alongside founder and MD Alistair Hayward-Wright, and practice director Sam Paice.
Hayward-Wright, said: “We knew when Gareth joined us last year that he was a talented and well-connected accountant who builds a strong rapport with clients.
“In 18 months he has more than proved his talent and ambition. He is a first-rate accountant and someone with the ability to give clear and concise advice. His promotion is well-deserved and I am delighted to have Gareth as part of our new-look senior team.”
Earlier this year the firm acquired Solihull-based Bushell Smith Harman. Hayward Wright now employs 16 staff and has moved into a new HQ in Redditch.
Wood said: “For almost ten years Alistair has built a widely respected and trusted business. Now part of the senior team, I am thrilled to be in a position to help write the next chapter in our success story.”
