New partner promotion at Grant Thornton in Gatwick

Jon Maile has been promoted to partner in the south-east at Grant Thornton.

Maile has worked with a range of dynamic businesses in Surrey, Sussex and Kent, having initially joining the firm as a trainee. He is a specialist in financial reporting under both IFRS and UK GAAP, and is head of audit at the firm’s Gatwick office.

“I am delighted to join the core leadership team at Grant Thornton as partner. I will use this opportunity to cement our commitment to the south-east,” Maile said.

Maile has had extensive experience in working with businesses with established international operations and those with ambitions to expand their business overseas. He has also supported entrepreneurial mid-sized corporates and listed companies.

Grant Thornton Gatwick has also recently hired a further four graduates, three school leavers and two managers, among other promotions.

The firm is ranked 5th in the 2016 Top 50+50 Survey, supported by Sage.
