BDO wants clients closer as new cloud service launched

BDO HAS LAUNCHED a service to share and receive client information through cloud accounting technology.

BDO InTouch, directed at mid-market corporates and fast-growing businesses, will provide clients with access to current business performance information and enable BDO advisers to keep tabs on issues or opportunities as they arise.

Developed by BDO’s business services and accounting practice, InTouch offers clients a fully outsourced finance function and other services, including company formation and secretarial, tax compliance and technical accounting assistance.

Grant assistance, business planning and financial modelling services are also available to clients, depending on their requirements and stage of development.

According to head of business services and accounting at BDO, Mark Sykes, one of the biggest challenges noted by businesses is the need to be “more agile and respond to change”. Businesses “need and demand the delivery of quality information, in a timely fashion and to wherever they may be in the world”.

He added: “BDO InTouch provides companies with the information and advice they need to manage, develop and grow their businesses. It gives management up-to-date financial information at their fingertips, eliminates the reliance on historical financial data and allows them to plan for the future and respond more effectively and efficiently to the here and now.”

BDO is the top auditor on the London Stock Exchange’s junior market by client number.
