EY boosts governance, risk and compliance consulting services with Integrc acquisition
EY has signed a conditional agreement to acquire Integrc, a privately-owned provider of governance, risk and compliance (GRC) services to companies that run SAP.
The acquisition will bolster the adviser’s position as a provider of SAP GRC services by improving its end-to-end offering – from strategy to technology implementation, the firm said.
Integrc’s team of consultants, based in the Netherlands, UK, India and the UAE, specialise in the full lifecycle of GRC consultancy and support services, including SAP GRC operations, audit, strategy and planning, implementation, operational control and fully managed services.
The deal brings EY GRC intellectual property assets and complementary advisory sector experience, helping the firm offer an enhanced GRC client offering in terms of both business strategy and technology implementation.
Harry Gaskell, managing partner of EY’s UK & Ireland advisory practice, said: “With this acquisition, we will be able to provide a world-class set of solutions to help our clients’ GRC operations work better.”
Last year, EY announced plans to grow its strategy consulting practice to over 2,500 professionals by 2020 and acquired Parthenon Group, which provides a range of strategic and transaction advisory services across the globe.
The acquisition is expected to complete in August, subject to certain conditions being met. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The news comes as KPMG has made a similar acquisition.
