ONLINE ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE CheapAccounting.co.uk has launched a ‘Dragon’s Den’ style accountancy franchise.
The new concept, which takes its inspiration from the well-known BBC show, requires no upfront investment from the franchisee, with CheapAccounting.co.uk taking a stake in the business and providing support by way of marketing, new client enquiries and mentoring.
The stake can be reduced or eliminated in the future by way of a predefined buy out model.
“I think our unique Dragon Accountancy Franchise is a fabulous opportunity for those who really want to make a success of their accountancy business but are nervous about getting started or have an existing practice and have lost their way a bit,” said Elaine Clark, managing director of CheapAccounting.co.uk.
“There is still a view held by some that a franchisor is just there to collect a huge fee from the franchisee and do nothing in return. We’ve put together Dragon to dispel this. We’ll only get a return if the franchisee’s accountancy business is a success.”
The official launch of the CheapAccounting.co.uk Dragon Franchise will take place on 1 September 2014.
