Clean Air Power FD resigns for new opportunity
Pete Rowse leaves Clean Air Power after eight years
THE GROUP FINANCE DIRECTOR of engineering business Clean Air Power, Pete Rowse, has resigned in order to pursue another business opportunity.
A date for Rowse’s departure has not been determined, although he is to remain with the company to complete the financial reporting for the 12 months ending 31 December 2013 and to help ensure an orderly succession. No successor has yet been appointed.
Clean Air Power chief executive John Pettitt said: “I have enjoyed working with Pete for the past eight years during which time he has made a huge contribution to the business. The finance team is well organised and prepared for the future. I recognise that this new opportunity fits well with his personal ambitions and wish him well in his new role.”
In the six months to 30 June 2013, the company made a gross profit of £2m, down from £2.1m in the corresponding period in 2012.
The company was founded in 1991 and allows heavy duty diesel engines to run primarily on natural gas, with the diesel acting like a liquid spark plug.
