TomTom CFO Marina Wyatt joins the board of Shanks Group as a non-executive director
THE CFO of TomTom is to join the board of Shanks Group as a non-executive director with immediate effect, the company said.
Marina Wyatt also becomes a member of the group’s audit committee, which she will chair after the conclusion of the AGM on 25 July.
A chartered accountant and a fellow with the ICAEW, Wyatt spent nine years with Arthur Andersen in London and the US before joining Psion as its group controller and became group FD in 1996.
In 2002 she was appointed CFO of Colt Telecom and joined TomTom as its CFO in 2005. Wyatt previously served as a non-executive director of Symbian and of Blackwell Publishing.
Adrian Auer, chairman of Shanks Group, commented:”She brings extensive financial leadership expertise with quoted companies and has a wealth of international experience, including working in the Netherlands though her current role at TomTom. Marina’s appointment complements and strengthens our Board and I have no doubt she will add tremendous insight and value.”
Shanks also announced that former Taylor Woodrow FD, Peter Johnson, is retiring from the board after eight years as chairman of the audit committee
