SFP ADMINISTRATORS have been called to Rhondda-based printing business Hackman Printers.
Brothers Daniel and Simon Plant, partners at SFP, were appointed joint-administrators to the business, which will continue to be traded while a buyer is sought.
The company employs about 65 people and, despite a turnover of about £7m, has accrued debts of about £850,000.
Plant said: “Hackman has a good reputation for the services it provides and is hopeful that this fact will result in a successful outcome for taking the business forward.
“We are already in discussions with a number of potential purchasers and are looking to achieve a sale of the business as a going concern.”
Hackman provides commercial printing on stationary and invitations, as well as direct mail and marketing services such as inserts for books and magazines.
