MAZARS IS IN DISCUSSIONS TO ACQUIRE the Gloucester and Leeds-based personal insolvency division of PwC, Accountancy Age understands.
The deal was made earlier this week with a general announcement due to take place later today.
PwC will continue to take bankruptcy and other personal insolvency appointments. However, it will work only with high net worth individuals that have entered insolvency proceedings and larger complex cases in this field.
A PwC spokespeople was unable to comment at the time of publication.
Mazars confirmed it is in “detailed discussions” with PwC.
