A Milsted Langdon administrator has been called into signage company A E Finch & Co.
Simon Rowe was appointed administrator and is currently seeking a buyer for the business. Bristol-based A E Finch & Co was founded in 1959 and has worked with clients such as Asda, Kwik Fit and HM Prisons.
Rowe said the business had suffered a significant fall in new orders over recent months.
“We are trading the business for the next week or so to complete contracts and try to find a buyer. However, work has fallen off to such an extent that we have no new orders in place at this point in time,” he said.
Prior to his appointment the business made eight redundancies to its 15-person team. A spokesman for the administrator said there are no plans for further redundancies in the immediate future.
