PwC moves next door to E&Y
PricewaterhouseCoopers and Ernst & Young will become neighbours at More London Place, the firm said
PwC will move into a new building at 7 More London Place, a few doors along
from Ernst & Young.
The building will house around 6,000 PwC staff across 500,000 square feet,
and construction work is expected to begin at the end of the year. The firm will
move into its new home in 2010, but will keep its site on Embankment Place,
holding 4,500 staff.
‘The new offices will provide a high quality working environment for our
people and incorporate our approach to sustainable practices by using low carbon
and solar technologies,’ the firm said in a statement.
The planned move follows a spate of office relocations for the Big Four.
KPMG recently took out a £260m lease on a 15-floor building in London’s Canary
Wharf.
E&Y recently moved to its office on the river Thames, while Deloitte is
bringing together operations at its Stonecutter Court complex.
