Bank of England appoints FD
Bank hires Warwick Jones, former chief operating officer at Singer & Friedlander
The Bank of England has appointed a new finance director.
Warwick Jones, a chartered accountant who qualified at Robson Rhodes, is to
take over from Clifford Smout, who is retiring, from October 1.
After leaving Robson Rhodes, Jones held senior financial roles at LloydsTSB,
including being finance director of Hill Samuel Bank, and Bradford &
Bingley, before becoming group finance director of Leopold Joseph Holdings.
His most recent position was group finance director and chief operating
officer of Singer & Friedlander.
