Microsoft goes for market opportunity in mobile email messaging
Microsoft is attempting to grab a piece of the mobile email market, and in turn challenge further corporate takeup of the ubiquitous BlackBerry handheld device.

Free upgrades will be available for Microsoft customers using email server software, enabling them to send messages to mobile phones carrying Microsoft Windows software.
The update allows Outlook information – including email, calendar, contacts and improved support for Tasks – to be pushed from a direct connection between Exchange Server and a Windows Mobile-based device.
