Charity installs financial management system
MacIntyre Care, a charity for people with learning disabilities, has implemented a new financial management system to speed up its accounting processes.
The system, from OpenAccounts, replaces a manual spreadsheet-based system.
The monthly accounts, which previously took a week to complete, can now be done in a day. Payroll journals, which took one day, are now completed in just 30 minutes.
Yvette Todd, management accountant at MacIntyre Care, said: ‘The new software is easy to use and provides the in-depth reporting that we were looking for, as well as allowing us to increase time and cost-efficiencies throughout the organisation.’
