Whitbread FD takes over at Costa
High-street coffee retailer Costa has appointed Whitbread Restaurants finance director, Mark Phillips, as its new managing director.

His move is part of a management reshuffle at Travel Inn and Costa, both companies owned by listed leisure business Whitbread.
Philips, 45, will take over from Mike Tye who has moved from Costa to Travel Inn, to become the hotel chain’s managing director
Philips was previously finance director at health club chain David Lloyd Leisure, also part of the Whitbread stable.
