    FrameStore joint chief executive William Sargent, probably better known for his block-busting digital series Walking with Dinosaurs, has been appointed as the first chair of the Small Business Council. He will act as the official communicator between small businesses and the DTI. Despite the flood of applicants and initial touting as a strong favourite of British Chambers of Commerce director-general Chris Humphries, small business minister Patricia Hewitt said Sargent was ideal as he understands the issues facing small businesses.
