Tax inspector on corruption charges

Former tax inspector, Michael Allcock, was treated to a night out gambling in Monte Carlo’s casinos by an Arab millionaire in return for wiping out #800,000 of tax liability, the Old Bailey heard this week. Allcock, who has denied corruption charges, was also taken on an all-expenses paid tour of Nice and Cannes by Lebanese businessman Marwen Kalo, the court heard. The case continues.
