The firm looks to strengthen their East Anglian position with an on-site base
RSM has recently revealed that they have acquired a new Cambridge office. They have emphasised that their intention is to strengthen their presence in the East Anglian market share.
RSM UK is part of the world’s sixth largest network of audit, tax, and consulting firms with 43,000 people operating from 800 offices in more than 120 countries.
“Cambridge has one of the fastest growth rates of any British city, and it is hugely important globally as a centre of technology and research excellence,” said Mark Taylor, RSM UK’s regional managing partner for the central region.
Their new office, located in City House on Hills Road, promises to be at the heart of the city’s thriving business community, as well as becoming a hub for the firm’s other service lines to expand their presence both in Cambridge and the surrounding areas.
Taylor went on to emphasise: “The growth of our team in East Anglia is a key element of our wider business strategy.”
Laragh Jeanroy will be taking on the role of RSM’s office managing partner in Cambridge, drawing on over 20 years of experience as well as a well-formulated understanding of the business community.
“I very much look forward to working with Laragh to grow the team and our brand presence locally,” Taylor said. “Her broad experience is invaluable to RSM’s existing clients in the region, and will continue to ensure we offer the region’s leading service. Her knowledge of the Cambridgeshire market will also be vital in helping to establish, bolster, and grow our presence in this key market.”
Laragh Jeanroy said: “Geographically, the Cambridgeshire market forms an important part of our wider regional strategic growth plan. Having that physical presence in Cambridge will act as an enabler to grow, and to provide an on-site capability to clients based in and around Cambridge.”
Taylor concluded: “From our new office in Cambridge, we hope to deepen our relationships with the local business community – particularly fast-growing middle market businesses – drawing on advisory expertise from across our regional, national, and international network.”
