Business Recovery Insolvency Jobs

As the credit crunch bites, the recession intensifies and the economic climate grows gloomier, demand for insolvency and bankruptcy specialists is already growing.

Accountancy firms have been moving many of their staff out of corporate finance and into business recovery and turnaround roles. Smaller and medium-sized firms are also looking to beef up their insolvency and bankruptcy arms.

Demand for business restructuring and insolvency services shows no signs of slowing.

The latest figures from the government’s Insolvency Service show that in the last three months of 2008, individual insolvencies increased by 18.5% compared to the same quarter last year and 8.2% on the previous quarter.

The sector is likely to be the strongest growth area for accountants for the foreseeable future.
