A Top 60 Firm are looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join their Central London office

Reporting to the Partner, qualified to ACA/ACCA level, and ideally with five years post qualification practice experience, ambitious, self-motivated and with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a mixed portfolio of clients
  • Develop and maintain effective client relationships, including attending client meetings
  • Leading a team in the preparation of financial statements for sole trader, partnerships, charities and limited companies
  • Review and complete client audits for sign off by Partner
  • Organise the flow of work within the team, allocating assignments as necessary taking into consideration resourcing requirements
  • Review work undertaken by other staff
  • Monitor and report on the team’s performance
  • Ensure that work is delivered within budget and time requirements
  • Provide assistance in the development of staff, including their supervision and training
  • Support partners in networking and client relationship management

Personal Specification:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified
  • Good computer skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), organisational and administrative skills,
  • Ability to work as part of a team, using own initiative when required
  • Experience working in general practice essential
  • Ability to travel between offices and client premises
