A great opportunity for a Part Qualified individual looking to pursue a career with a Tax focused role, and our client are looking for a Tax & Accounts Semi Senior to join their team.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Mixed personal tax and accounts role with a heavier weighting on personal tax
• work
• Preparing accounts for Sole traders, Partnerships and Limited companies
• Preparing personal tax returns for Manager / Partner review
• Assisting with personal tax compliance work as required
• Assisting with the necessary admin processes relating personal tax
• Responsible for a small portfolio of monthly bookkeeping and VAT return jobs
• Training and reviewing the work of junior members of staff
• Handling day to day enquiries and queries from clients
• Liaising with HMRC on behalf of clients

The Ideal Candidate

• Studying towards ACA/ACCA/CTA
• 2 years’ experience of working in a small / medium size practice
• Keen and ambitious individual looking to further develop their career in accountancy
• Knowledge of CCH & Xero accounting software
• Good team player able to interact at all levels of organisation
