Trainee Payroller / Bookkeeper | Accountancy Practice

AJ Chambers are pleased to be recruiting for a medium sized Accountancy Firm in Central London who are seeking a Trainee Payroller / Bookkeeper to join their firm.

This is a fantastic role for a candidate educated to A Level standard, who is looking for their first / next step into Accountancy.

As the ideal candidate, you will have 2 years’ work experience, ideally within Accountancy / Finance with some Payroll experience. Knowledge / use of Sage Payroll would be ideal.

The main duties of the role will be:

• Sales and purchase ledger processing
• Reconciliation of accounts
• Bank reconciliations
• VAT and month end reporting
• Processing Payroll

The firm are able to offer fantastic training within Bookkeeping and Payroll to give you a great start in your Accountancy career. Study support for the AAT qualification can be offered alongside a very competitive salary.
