VAT Manager

AJ Chamber are currently recruiting for a VAT Manager to join a highly impressive Mid-tier firm’s London office

You will be joining a large team of tax experts, in a firm that is well renowned for their excellent Tax work. Throughout the company, they believe in promotion on merit, rather than waiting for a position to become available. Therefore for the right person, fast progression is realistic.

You will be working in the VAT team, with the vast majority of your work being concentrated on andvisory work, with minimal compliance. Your portfolio will cover a vast array of Tax technical issues, and will be a great opportunity to get involved in more complex work.

VAT Manager Duties:

• Providing VAT advice
• Providing assistance to other teams on compliance work
• Assisting on complex VAT registrations
• Taking a lead on project work
• Carrying out research on VAT matters
• Being available on the phone to provide advice to a selection of clients
• Providing internal and external VAT training
• Taking an active role in the development of new business

VAT Manager Requirements:

• CTA qualified, or close to completion
• Experience dealing with complex VAT matters
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines whilst under pressure
• A willingness to continue in your personal development
