Join Corporate Finance to head the Performance Reporting team for the Government, offering direct finance and accountancy support to a Business Partnership service.

A sub-tropical island of spectacular and beautiful landscapes in the South Atlantic with a warm and friendly population of 4,500, St Helena is a self-governing overseas territory of the UK. A new international airport now offers a weekly scheduled flight from Johannesburg.

You will own the day to day operational management of the recently formed Performance Reporting team with a robust system of critical management information for decision makers within the St Helena Government.  Leading the treasury management processes for the Government, you must review and develop systems and processes. You will also support the three year annual strategic planning and budgeting programme for St Helena Government.

Your team will scrutinise and challenge directorate spend and revenue forecasts, setting appropriate analysis criteria and variance analysis and ensuring that these are followed through and cleared.

With post qualification experience in treasury management and performance reporting, you are a CIMA or CCAB qualified accountant or equivalent with current membership and up to date CPD record. Your background should include producing Financial Reports for Management, Budget performance and team management.

We offer an extensive benefits package with 30 days leave pa, fare paid travel, freight, pension contribution and relocation allowance (see overseas vacancy information). An application form can be found at www.sthelenacareers.co.uk where further information can also be found, or you may contact Kedell Worboys on 0203 818 7610 or email: [email protected].

Applications should be sent to [email protected]  and received by Friday, 19 June 2020. Interviews will be held in London or Skype.

Due to the potential for high numbers of applications, if you have not heard from us within 2 weeks of the closing date you should assume you have not been short listed.  We would like to thank you for your interest in working for the St Helena Government.
