AJ Chambers are working alongside a reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Coventry who are seeking a talented and experienced Payroll Manager to join there team.

The Role:

  • Managing a team of 2 payroll staff
  • Managing 300 payroll clients
  • Advising clients on all payroll related matters (e.g SMP, holiday entitlement etc)
  • Workplace pension administration
  • CIS administration
  • Reconciling and setting up client PAYE, pension, CIS and salary payments
  • Be our leading technical resource for all matters relating to payroll and employment related matters
  • P11d preparation
  • Other ad-hoc work as required by the Practice.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 2 years??? experience in a similar role
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to manage a small team
  • Able to manage deadlines
  • Experience using Sage payroll
