Salary £105,000 + LGPS/TPS Pension + contribution to relocation expenses

Wiltshire College & University Centre is one of the South West Region’s most up and coming colleges and is currently well on its way to becoming Outstanding. Set in the beautiful county of Wiltshire with 4 main campuses in Chippenham, Lackham, Salisbury and Trowbridge, we are critical to delivering the Post 16 Education and Skills agenda and thus the economic success of the region.

Our college delivers education and training to more than 12,000 students with an annual turnover of £36m. Our provision is diverse and includes a broad offer at L1 to L3, specialist land-based provision at our Lackham Campus and an expanding higher-level offer under our University Centre status. We are part way through a £24m capital investment programme that will see our Salisbury and Lackham campuses upgraded and infrastructure refreshed, for which the new postholder will become the project sponsor.

Working closely with the Principal & CEO and the Deputy Principal Curriculum & Quality we seek a new Deputy Principal Corporate Resources to help to continue drive the college forward and to take responsibility for the broad portfolio of services that underpin excellent Teaching, Learning and Assessment and deliver an outstanding student experience.

The successful applicant will be an experienced CCAB-qualified accountant. Whilst it is not essential that you have a direct FE background  you should relish the opportunity to work with  a highly committed and capable management team covering Finance, Human Resources, Estates, MIS and IT whose members are committed to working together to deliver customer excellence. Our Professional Services functions are based on our Trowbridge campus but as part of the Senior Leadership Team you will be highly visible and rotate your presence on all 4 campuses.

To be part of this team applicants should be enthusiastic, with high energy levels, excellent organisation and great interpersonal skills. If you think that this might be you then we really want to meet you, so please take your application further in the first instance by having an initial discussion with our retained Recruitment Consultants at Protocol.
