Ariens Company Limited is a subsidiary of AriensCo, a power equipment company that was founded in 1933 and is headquartered in Brillion, Wisconsin USA. AriensCo manufactures snow blowers, lawn mowers and zero-turn mowers for commercial and high-end consumer markets across the globe. The UK facility, based at Great Haseley in Oxfordshire is the hub of all its EMEA&A (European, Middle East, Asia and Africa) sales and operating profit reporting enabling the wider business to make the associated business decisions for the region.

Ariens Company Limited is looking for a highly motivated, fast paced and passionate Finance and Administrative Manager to join their EMEA&A senior management team based in the UK. As the Finance and Administration Manager you will work as an integral member of the senior management team to proactively identify, plan and meet the finance and administration needs of the organisation. You will provide positive challenges to Senior Leaders, budgets and business activities to ensure the best business outcomes are delivered, alongside working with the international parent company and being able to flex between operational and strategic duties as required.

Reporting to the Vice President EMEAA, the Finance and Administration Manager will lead the finance and customer service teams with a total of 7 staff via 2 direct reports, and coordinate EMEAA with finance leaders in Scandinavian and U.S. locations. You will be responsible for all financial reporting and controls including tax preparation, audit and banking. You will drive an effective and efficient planning process to guide the EMEAA business units in the formulation, review and communication of operating budgets and forecasts. A high degree of commercial aptitude is required to provide insightful information and advice to the management team and support decision making.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with previous experience of managing a finance function, leading a team and delivering meaningful commercial support to senior stakeholders. Experience of manufacturing and standard costing would be highly beneficial as would any exposure to working within an international company. Customer service experience is desirable although not essential if you have held responsibility across other disciplines outside of finance.
