Jigsaw Homes Group - Assistant Director of Finance
To manage the day to day activities of the Finance Team. Those include (but are not limited to) Financial Planning, Statutory Accounts Production, Project Implementation, Invoice Receivables, Payroll and Pensions, Rent Accounting and Debt Recovery.

3.To carry out all aspects of staff management including performance appraisals, individual one to ones, management of sickness and holidays, training and recruitment etc to ensure the department operates as effectively as possible
4.In respect of accounting to produce the year end statutory accounts
5.In respect of financial planning to ensure the financial planning process is robust, accurate and produced in a timely manner. To ensure all areas throughout Jigsaw have up to date financial plans which have been thoroughly tested and validated.
6.Carry out stress testing requirements on all financial plans in line with the Groups requirements.
7.To manage the Invoice Receivables and Former Tenants Arrears process including automating the process where possible and by reviewing procedures to maximise collection of any outstanding payments
8.To manage the payroll function, ensuring all staff are paid on time and in line with contractual responsibilities. Responsibility for ensuring all payments of deductions are made to the relevant bodies within the prescribed timescales. The function must be managed within any legislative or regulatory rules
9.To contribute to the development of IT systems, and monitor/maintain computerised systems in connection with finance and payroll
10.Ensuring any relevant statutory / regulatory and statistical returns are accurate and submitted as required within the timescales provided. This includes, but not limited to, the annual Financial Forecast Return (FFR) and the quarterly regulatory surveys.
11.Ensure you have full and up to date knowledge of all legislation, case law, regulations and rules associated with any of the areas of work you are responsible for
12.Ensure there is sufficient internal control imbedded throughout the department in all processes and procedures and therefore ensuring there are minimal recommendations made by either Internal or External Audit
13.To ensure there is a cohesive approach to the provision of financial information across the Group. The approach should ensure that financial information is accurate, provided in a user friendly way and meets the needs of the recipient
14.Working with the Assistant Director of Finance - Income, ensures there are adequate systems for the collection of income
15.Working with the Assistant Director of Finance – Income ensure, the annual rent increase is completed, on time, based on the Rent Policy and in line with government guidelines. Review the Rent Policy annually in conjunction with the Rent Standard
16.To take the strategic lead in respect of company pensions
17.To work in accordance with the Financial Regulations at all times.
18.Follow all Group policies and procedures in accordance with the role and attend Mandatory training when requested to ensure compliance with Group policies and procedures.
19.Ensure you work in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 and the Equality & Diversity Policy at all times.
20.Carry out any duty which may be, from time to time, requested by the Assistant Director of Income and Leasehold, Director of Finance, Group Directors or Chief Executive, commensurate with the position.
